All the best to all of you

General words about nothing and everything, noises, blatherings and non-specific things uttered by MemoryHeap. Real discussions pertaining to stories will take place in those forums.

Anyone can read my blog, and post in it. If you don't have an account on the site, your posts will be filtered through various anti-spam checks, and you will have to submit to an 'are you human?' test. This is necessary to avoid the spammers (sorry, but such measures have already prevented thousands of garbage postings).

It being that time of year again, I'd like to wish all of you Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Winter Solstice, or whatever way you celebrate the season. I'm hoping I might actually find some time to write over the holidays, because work has certainly been in the way of creative output.

On another note, in looking back I realized that it has been over ten years since this board went live. It's amazing how fast a decade can go by. There aren't many people left who come here; at one time this seemed like a fairly vibrant place, but I guess with the really active members like Guillaume and Natasha gone, there's not much activity. Most of the current members don't seem to like to say much, whereas those two were always good for comments or critiques on everything I wrote. To the rest of you--feel free to speak up, speak your mind, tell me what you don't like. I will not take offense.

From the rest of Us:

Do celebrate the season as you desire and I do hope the New Year brings prosperity and good health to you and yours.

I have noted that G and N seemed to be missing from the comments. I have tried to keep up with things but my situation requires virtually 100% of my time and I have to steal away to read your great stories.

I will remain an avid reader if your wonderful offerings.
