'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring,
not even the poor slave strung up in the basement dungeon...

Okay, not quite the classic tale, but I couldn't resist. I hope that you and yours have as much fun as you can during this plague-infested second holiday season. I'm sure that, by now, we all were thinking that we'd be able to have something resembling a normal Christmas. Instead, we're now heading into a fifth wave of infections, driven by the new Omicron variant. Restrictions on the size of family gatherings are in place in many areas, mine included. That means no large party of friends and children and grandchildren, with everyone unwrapping presents and then crowding around a groaning table full of food. A quiet time will likely be had by all.

Try to have fun, but above all, stay safe, stay free of the plague, get all your shots, stay out of crowds, and wear a mask when you should.

Cheers
MH
